Child photo review privacy notice

Last updated: 7 October 2026. Read this service-specific notice alongside the SecureNow.online Privacy Policy. This notice explains the additional information used for a child photo review.

What we collect

For an order, SecureNow records your name, mobile number, email address, each selected Facebook profile or website URL, selected review scopes, consent, website name where provided, Friends-access confirmation where relevant, order and payment status, and written findings and report details. For a website review we record page and image-reference URLs, visible alt text and nearby text needed to assess findings.

After payment, your order email contains your order details and private case link. We review selected public content after payment and recorded consent. Posts shared with Friends require separate consent and confirmed access for the designated reviewer. Only an account or website owner can change the original content.

We visually review accessible Facebook post images and image references on public website pages within the selected review. Sign-in pages, private portals, video and CSS background images are outside the review; inaccessible items and exclusions are recorded. We do not download or store copies of photos, screenshots or thumbnails, and do not keep a child-photo library. The report contains written findings, review counts, exclusions and direct links to original posts or website pages; it does not contain photo copies or thumbnails.

How we use the information

We use order information to confirm and administer your request, complete the agreed review, prepare your report and have our consultant check it, provide the private report link and SMS access code, respond to you, prevent misuse and meet our record-keeping obligations. Service messages are not marketing; placing an order does not subscribe you to promotions.

Payments and service providers

Stripe processes payments. SecureNow receives the order amount, payment status and transaction references needed to administer the order; we do not receive or store your full card number or card security code. Vercel hosts the service, Neon stores encrypted case records, Resend delivers service emails and ClickSend delivers requested SMS access codes. These providers may process information in Australia or other countries under their own service terms and retention settings. The SecureNow Privacy Policy describes our general use of service providers and overseas processing.

Storage, security and retention

Case payloads and reports are encrypted in the case database and available only to authorised reviewers and the relevant customer through the report-access controls. Case records and reports are scheduled for deletion 30 days after report approval, or 30 days after an abandoned request. A minimal consent and deletion receipt is retained for 12 months. Access codes expire after 10 minutes, work once and are stored only as keyed hashes. Provider messages, backups and logs may have separate retention periods.

Your choices and privacy requests

You can withdraw an order from its private order page or contact hello@securenow.online. Withdrawal revokes report access and triggers deletion of the active case data. You can also ask to access or correct information, or raise a privacy concern, by emailing us with enough detail to identify your order. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may be able to contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, subject to its rules and the laws that apply.

Photos and edits

We do not use children’s photos to train models. Optional photo editing is a separate, quoted service. Do not email photos of children; if an edit is agreed, SecureNow will explain a separate secure handover. Any edited image you download and any copy retained on your device are under your control.
